The handcrafted leather Saddle bag is offered in a superb new seasonal leather, with a signature nod to heritage style.

Designed and made here in regional NSW, the original Saddle bag design is a tried and true piece. The style is clean and simple, a hallmark of the Saddler & Co brand. Enjoy the subtle variations and inherent beauty of natural leather in the daily use of this bag.

Introducing new season TRUFFLE : an earthy, chocolate brown which reveals undertones of plum, walnut, and bark. Strong yet refined. Experience the elegance of this rich and nuanced leather. 
  • Handcrafted by our artisan team in Dubbo - Australia.
  • Made from nubuck leather tanned in New Zealand.
  • Adjustable, stitched strap, accompanied by carefully crafted leather keepers.
  • 2 x full grain leather pouch pockets form dividers inside the bag.
  • 1 x internal pouch pocket made from full-grain Italian 1 mm leather. Featuring secure brass zipper pocket accessible at the back of the bag. 
  • Choose to emboss your monogram on the back of the bag for a personal, subtle touch.

The curve of the Saddle bag is smooth and softly rounded, handcrafted from full grain leather with an elegant brass stud for closure. The bag naturally falls by your side or will cross over the body with the sturdy adjustable leather strap.

Inside you will find two pouch pocket dividers, while a secure closed pocket with brass zipper is sewn into the back of each bag. This is the place to pop your phone or keys, anything you want securely hidden yet accessible with your hand as required.

Measurements:  22 cm high x 25 cm wide x 6 cm deep.  Hanging length from strap to top of bag is 57 cm, adjustable 10 cm in each direction.

Maker Notes:  

Our original Saddle bag pattern allows the individual colour and leather grain to be fully experienced. In the process, we have avoided undue busyness such as external stitching lines or ostentatious hardware.  Rather each design is expertly crafted around hidden seams, clean lines, and solid brass touches - in harmony with our values of making for long term quality.

Made in Australia. Each one of our leather goods is designed & handcrafted personally by the Saddler & Co workshop situated in Dubbo, Australia.

Every item is uniquely designed, prepared, cut, sewn, finished, and packaged in-house by our dedicated team. We source only the finest leathers, and grade them in house for each product.

As a brand we value supporting local businesses and other makers. Most of packaging, including boxes & print material, is made in Australia and completely recyclable.

The Saddler & Co range is limited in nature, made in small batches at a time. If your preferred item has sold out and specifies "PRE-ORDER" this means there will be a lead time on your order. A pre-order product will be scheduled for our next production run and we will update you on the approximate completion date.
