When you purchase an Outlet piece please be aware of slight variances in colour & leather grain. Usually these bear only minor defects which are hard to see at first glance. Of course, this in no way reduces the longevity or beauty of the piece itself!

We purposefully created an uncomplicated bag, with little fuss or ostentation about it. Rather you will discover a minimal simplicity, and a look that will complement any wardrobe. Here is just the right amount of room for the essentials we love to carry such as: keys, wallet, perfume, glasses, and phone.

Each bag is hand crafted in Dubbo, Australia
Wearing the bag is a pleasant experience, as the beauty of authentic leather is that it warms to the touch and becomes softer with use.
A subtle grain and wax in the leather characteristics provides a light sheen to the finish and everyday marks can be worked out with a natural cloth
Lined with full grain leather, featuring two small leather pouch pockets inside designed to fit your phone or keys
The adjustable, stitched leather strap features a brass buckle and rivets
Features solid brass dees. Bag closes with a brass YKK zipper and leather pull
To care for this leather, we recommend using a small amount of leather conditioner every few months to maintain the supple finish.
MEASURES: 300 mm long x 200 mm wide up to 60 mm gusset. Leather strap will hang up to 550-750mm adjustable drop from shoulder to bag. The strap length to middle hole measures 1300mm in total

Bark tanned cowhide. Made in Italy. Full-Grain Panel Leather.

The process of making the Essential bag involves a careful selection of the best grade of leather. This requires time, and a personal eye, in order to ensure each bag is unique & beautiful. Each piece is selected and cut from the full grain leather hide, before sewing each bag using traditional methods, always in small batches.
Inspiration was taken to design this piece from a panel leather to allow the bag to mould softly to the wearer’s body, unobtrusive and easily accessible when slung over the shoulder. This leather will age gracefully with time.

Each hide of leather has its own characteristic markings and tone, and thus each one of our leather goods will be unique and individual.  We've selected and graded this leather for its strength and ability to remain supple with a little care and leather conditioner. Every item is uniquely designed, prepared, cut, sewn, finished, and packaged in-house by our dedicated team. We source only the finest leathers, and grade them in house for each product.

As a brand we value supporting local businesses and other makers. Most of packaging, including boxes & print material, is made in Australia and completely recyclable.

The Saddler & Co range is limited in nature, made in small batches at a time. If your preferred item has sold out and specifies "PRE-ORDER" this means there will be a lead time on your order. A pre-order product will be scheduled for our next production run and we will update you on the approximate completion date.
