Leather Wine Bag in Caramel

$175.00

Made to bear the imprint of memorable occasions over the years from casual picnics to gatherings with friends and significant parties.

We are pleased to release The Wine Bag in five classic leather choices. Each bag is founded upon the skilled and age old process of leather selection, hand processes, and seasonality. Combined with the winemaker's vintage, the bag is destined to create a sensory experience beyond the passing moment.

Similar to the way a good wine mellows with age, leather is also designed to gain patina through the years.

The shape of the bag develops intentionally as the seams gently close together, while revealing a hint to the wine bottle found inside. It is here that a paradox can be discovered - the hidden promise of good things to come. The leather bow closure and brass rivet detail point to the element of a special gift, hinting to the joy of opening delight.

Maker Notes:

We work with full-thickness leather and cut out each bag individually from the most suitable parts of each hide. Our makers have used their sewing skills to follow the curved design with complementary stitching, forming each pattern into its final three-dimensional shape. Finished off by hand using a leather Edging technique and traditional saddler tools. Leather is a naturally robust material that will age gracefully over time.
