This A5 variation of the Work Folio has become a favourite self-contained companion to work and creating, in a deft, personal size.

The classic A5 size is ideal for carry and travel: it is not cramped to work in, yet slips easily into bags of varied sizes, and perches on a table with room to spare for coffee.

Crafted from character-filled full grain leather panels to protect your work, and develop a unique patina with use, it is a fitting companion to the perennial activity of taking pen to paper. The leather has a warm character and supple hand-feel, and develops a lucid burnish-like patina.

Two inner slips are designed to hold a journal, or to house a journal on one side and loose papers on the other. A versatile pen-slot for your tool of choice, and a fully-lined closure panel with press-studs makes the work folio a secure gathering of one’s analogue kit.

Each hide of leather has its own characteristic markings and tone, and thus each one of our leather goods will be unique and individual.  We've selected and graded this leather for its strength and ability to remain supple with a little care and leather conditioner. Every item is uniquely designed, prepared, cut, sewn, finished, and packaged in-house by our dedicated team. We source only the finest leathers, and grade them in house for each product.

As a brand we value supporting local businesses and other makers. Most of packaging, including boxes & print material, is made in Australia and completely recyclable.

The Saddler & Co range is limited in nature, made in small batches at a time. If your preferred item has sold out and specifies "PRE-ORDER" this means there will be a lead time on your order. A pre-order product will be scheduled for our next production run and we will update you on the approximate completion date.
