The Kipling Collection has been designed to give purpose to every part of the leather hide and thus minimise wastage within our workshop. You can expect to see markings, natural imperfections and scars in the leather which tell a story and will continue to gain character through play and life.
Caramel is the Saddler & Co signature colour, with notes of warm chestnut and a subtle lustre to the leather.
Dark Brown is a timeless colour showcasing woody and plum tones. This leather gathers a rich sheen, burnished with time.
Black is a naturally classic with a depth of charcoal tones and subtle character showing through a superb, matte finish to the leather.
Nutmeg is a naturally oiled leather with a tactile finish and character markings. Over time, the leather fibres will darken and meld beautifully.
We celebrate the authentic nature of leather in crafting items which demonstrate excellence and durability. All leather has been checked for quality. As a natural material, we love the way that leather shows character variance, markings, natural scars, and imperfections that are part of the uniqueness of each particular hide. The leather can be cared for through the years with a gentle clean cloth and water, finishing off with an application of leather conditioner.
