The Kipling leather Cap is an heirloom children's item to treasure. 

Think of Robin hood and his merry men. Peter Pan. Ranger's apprentice. 

Handcrafted from our fabulous oiled leather with a subtle texture and sensory appeal. Little people can wear the Leather cap for hours of imaginative play. 

The Leather Cap features a genuine Pheasants tail Feather. 

Designed for: Imaginative play. Little Explorers and Rangers. Dress up keepsake. 

Age range One size fits most children. Made to be slung over the shoulder or worn across the body. 

Measures: 30cm Length x 18cm top point height x 5.5cm lowest point

The Kipling Collection has been designed to give purpose to every part of the leather hide and thus minimise wastage within our workshop. You can expect to see markings, natural imperfections and scars in the leather which tell a story and will continue to gain character through play and life. 

We celebrate the authentic nature of leather in crafting items which demonstrate excellence and durability. All leather has been checked for quality. As a natural material, we love the way that leather shows character variance, markings, natural scars, and imperfections that are part of the uniqueness of each particular hide. The leather can be cared for through the years with a gentle clean cloth and water, finishing off with an application of leather conditioner.

Each hide of leather has its own characteristic markings and tone, and thus each one of our leather goods will be unique and individual.

Made in Australia. Each one of our leather goods is designed & handcrafted personally by the Saddler & Co workshop situated in Dubbo, Australia.

Every item is uniquely designed, prepared, cut, sewn, finished, and packaged in-house by our dedicated team. We source only the finest leathers, and grade them in house for each product.

As a brand we value supporting local businesses and other makers. Most of packaging, including boxes & print material, is made in Australia and completely recyclable.

When your chosen item is in stock, please allow up to 3 days for your order to ship. Alternatively, contact our team directly to arrange Express shipping.

The Saddler & Co range is limited in nature, made in small batches at a time. If your preferred item has sold out and specifies "PRE-ORDER" this means there will be a lead time on your order. A pre-order product will be scheduled for our next production run and we will update you on the approximate completion date.

Our team is happy to assist with your questions or discussing a specific timeframe. We appreciate your patience and understanding there may sometimes be a wait of up 4-6 weeks for Pre-Orders to be completed and shipped.

Patience is worthwhile for a piece that will be enjoyed for many a year.
