Presenting the Classic Tote in Atlantic. A luxurious tone of Navy, defined by a premium, Australian leather. Our signature best selling bag, beloved by many since its launch in 2014, has been reworked into a special release featuring a distinctive tone of stunning Navy blue leather.

Style Notes:

There is an opulent structure to this new leather, tanned right here in Australia, while yet maintaining its honest appeal. The natural raw edges give a touch of authenticity and the waxed finish has excellent durability. This is indicative of a special piece that will not date with the passage of time. 

The bag size is designed to function perfectly on a daily basis. There is room for a clutch, notebook, pens and phone, small laptop or office essentials. You may like to carry your lunch to work or keep your book at hand within a bag design which is both accessible and pleasingly simple.

The unique aesthetic of the Classic tote bag is discovered through premium one-piece panels of leather and the feature buckles. The pattern allows the individual colour and leather grain to be fully experienced. In the process, we have avoided undue busyness such as external stitching lines or gaudy hardware.  Rather each design is expertly crafted around hidden seams and clean lines - in harmony with our values of making for long term quality. 

In addition, the design features an additional pair of plaited leather straps as interchangeable handles. You can purchase the Extra Plaited shoulder straps HERE.

The leather handles are our signature design, featuring adjustable length settings and exchanging easily with the NEW plaited leather straps. The plaited handle is specially made from one piece of leather with no obvious end or beginning, a ‘secret plait’. The design is a familiar nod to our saddlery trade, in the same way that we might plait a pair of bridle reins.

This is an elegant and versatile bag that will grow in beautiful character. Each tote is entirely made from full grain leather - handcrafted by our artisan team in Dubbo, Australia.

32cm height x  26cm base width, 39cm top width  x  11cm side gusset.

Features a thoughtfully designed internal pocket, including a zippered side compartment with two handy pouch pockets.

Made in Australia. Each one of our leather goods is designed & handcrafted personally by the Saddler & Co workshop situated in Dubbo, Australia.

Every item is uniquely designed, prepared, cut, sewn, finished, and packaged in-house by our dedicated team. We source only the finest leathers, and grade them in house for each product.

As a brand we value supporting local businesses and other makers. Most of packaging, including boxes & print material, is made in Australia and completely recyclable.

The Saddler & Co range is limited in nature, made in small batches at a time. If your preferred item has sold out and specifies "PRE-ORDER" this means there will be a lead time on your order. A pre-order product will be scheduled for our next production run and we will update you on the approximate completion date.
